I dont see this project looking good from any angle other then from ground level. from a distance in those last shots with the sun beaming off it. You cant really tell whats going on with the balconies. maybe once the glass is finally installed the wavy look will appear. Can only hope. But that being said, Shes a beaut from right at grade level.

I know what you mean. The three dimensional depth of the balconies is lost at a distance, which is why gritted/contrasting balcony cladding is a must in order to at least provide some sort of effect when viewed from afar. It will look tons better when the balconies are clad so rest assured what you see now is one Bloor at its lowest level of sex appeal. It's only upwards from here.

One of the reasons why they originally sloped the roof was probably to add a distinctly visible architectural feature from a distance due to the points you raised about the wavy balconies losing their effect from far away.

Thanks for the pics G.L 17. They really illustrate how much the balconies will stand out against the darker glass. I can't wait until they put more if them up.
