Interesting concept that I think will work well with the smaller floorplates in Mirvish Village:

The New York-based WeWork launched its newest ‘headquarters by WeWork’ concept at Mirvish Village at Bloor and Bathurst, for completion in 2022, on Monday, the same day it filed its confidential initial public offering with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
With ‘headquarters’ concept, companies occupy an entire floor, choosing from four design styles. Spaces can be configured and branded within a matter of weeks versus months. WeWork manages and operates the space, providing services and support. Members also have access to any WeWork co-working locations round the globe.

I enjoy the silly greenification in that project rendering. Step one: erase all buildings from the city leaving only the trees. Step two: decorate the project with random trees and grass like icing on a wedding cake

Oh wow this thing got real dull. Look back at the older renders and you’ll see what I mean. Yikes. Lost opportunity for something interesting in this spot. I’m sure it will be functional and all, as is now.

What changed that makes you think that? It looks great to me- I wish every project on our main streets mimicked historical fine-grain retail.
