To do what with? It would be nice if some of that cash went to something that benefits the city in some way.
Ugh?, this family has given a lot and still gives back a lot to the city, why should he now give his hard earned money to a city that spends it foolishly...that's crazy talk:eek:

You mean taxes? Luckily those exist!

Does Mirvish have any connection to this project anymore, or will they just use his name as part of the marketing?

Interesting post on Projectcore's FB page...

On behalf of the team at Projectcore we’d like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Last year we had great success finalizing the approvals for the Mirvish+Gehry towers which saw the completion of a successful transaction with Great Gulf. This year we continue to be hard at work on the re-development of 322 King St West, a component of the Mirvish+Gehry project. It is a major conversion of a heritage building on King Street West that will become offices and an art gallery for David Mirvish’s private collection.

Supposedly tenants within the building (source is a tenant) at the corner of King and John have been asked to look for new digs asap. Not sure what timeline is currently, but it looks like they need to be out within the next few months.

There has been lots of work going on here behind the scenes since the transaction, as well, so that jives.

Literally outstanding from this vantage point:
