So it looks like a bunch of residents are going to have their views blocked, looking out onto the back of that gorgeous, elegant, diaphanous* screen.

I weirdly find the junkiness of this building oddly compelling like in a busted run-down futuristic kind of way? There's sort of a pixel-y aspect too that might end up kinda neat reflecting in the light — curves represented as angles like an 8-bit building.

The fact that this is all that can be mustered in terms of building quality and fit and finish in what is literally like The Official Luxury Neighbourhood of Toronto is also pretty delicious — the dysfunction of the society that provides the luxury made manifest in architecture.
