This is really uninspired. I had hoped for more from MEC.

We still don’t learn it seems. I guess we’ll have to wait for the next boom to right this mistake. I’m not sure how many “world class” cities would put something like this up in such a location.

Literally every world class city has ugly buildings at view termini.

There was not even the smallest attempt to make this building interesting or attractive. I would expect this at a suburban strip mall but not at a major retail strip downtown!

Honestly this would’ve been palatable for an infill site sandwiched between buildings but the design truly fails to recognize the prominent location on a corner lot...

Utterly awful. An embarrassment to the classic built form of Queen street. I expected better of a seemingly progressive company.

Looks like something you'd find in Mississauga in the late 80s - bland, stodgy, utterly anonymous. They really failed Queen West with this one.
