Watching this one go up has been quite exciting. Seeing King and Bay finally fill out is just phenomenal—now just for the parking lot on the southeast corner to bite the dust, hopefully sooner rather than later. Photos taken Friday, September 2nd.

Which is good we need more density in the core

Agreed. There are too many surface parking lots. They detract from the vitality of the downtown core. In the future, people either live downtown if they work there or take the LRT and other high-quality transit connections into downtown. Those are key elements to properly revitalize downtown Hamilton and to realize its economic potential.
