Still wondering what they are going to do with this additional space. No new tenants have been announced since Pilot Coffee.
 
Are we really that surprised? Goes to show how little value some place on other people's lives. Getting their Parmigiano Reggiano is more important to them. They couldn't care less if they're spiking the curve (instead of helping to flattening it). One runs into people like this multiple times a day all year long.

Or maybe people are going there because the line is actually shorter than most other grocery stores and is closer to where they live? Don't be so quick to judge.

Exactly. All the delivery service in the area has been booked solid, making it hard to do anything but go out. First and foremost, Eataly is a grocery store, with decent prices on produce and staples. People don't need to make it an excuse to slam "elites"/millennials/whatever. If you don't live in the area (I do), shut the hell up.

It's a grocery store... people need to eat.

The restaurants are all closed and only offering delivery.
 
CLAD THE UGLY CONCRETE ALREADY!! dark, white, gray metal panels would work anything but the current post war soviet union look. At the very least, change the window glass, play with it with color
