Nope - you can compare the pics of the bridge when it opened to the more recent ones:


Deposits from diesel exhaust is black - it would have darkened the bridge, not making it look faded.

Does anyone know when the steel beams underneath will be removed?
Those are the supports that the bridge was delivered on? If yes, when they remove the barge it all came on I suspect.

...in the meantime, it's dying for a "kotsy" tag! >.>
