It will be about a 5 minute walk from this development, as will Exhibition. If Exhibition gets an eastern entrance as they are currently contemplating, it will be a 2 minute walk.
 
Metrolinx is planning to build two new tunnels at exhibition GO - one on the far western and another at the far eastern end of the platform. Both would have access to both the north and south sides of the tracks.

For most of LV it'll be a bit more than that. If you count from the middle of LV park, which is kind of the middle of the cluster of towers, it's ~9min to where the stairs will be for the station. Heck, even from this development it'll be 7min. Add in a red light at Atlantic/King and climb up to the platform, and you're closer or even over 10min.

The Ex tunnel, just like everything in this neighborhood, is badly needed. But just like everything else, except for the towers, it all takes way too long to build.

well reason doing all this the current business are going out also no traffic in that area so they try to bring more people and add traffic..also that Brazen will not touch it.. part of the MLSE...
 
I have such mixed feelings because I think Liberty Village should be receiving exactly this sort of density (due to its proximity to downtown) but yet, the (multi-modal) transportation planning in the area is so non-existent.

Yes, the area will be fenced off but it looks like construction is moving ahead now.

Wait a minute, he is guessing it'll be fenced off for a couple years before construction commences?? when this thread of 5 pages has the city approval application to go ahead a couple posts above .....come on! of course it's his 1st post of trash talk
