This parcel on the south side of Major Mackenzie Drive East, west of Highway 404 and east of Leslie Street in Richmond Hill's Headford area was previously MZO'd in 2020 with height allowances up to 40-storeys when it was owned by Rice Group.
It was then sold to Treasure Hill Homes / Montagna Capital who have submitted multiple applications for single detached and townhouse developments, with conceptual plans for a higher density block along Major Mackenzie.
The heritage-designated Hislop house (c. 1877) has been demolished in anticipation of development.
Parts of the development will be marketed as "Legacy Hill".
