VMC is already around half a million on what is already announced I believe, and there is another 300,000 or so square foot building approved.
 
If you consider the majority of the workers will be from the suburbs, the VCC subway line really doesn't do a great deal - of course I'm sure there will be some workers that live along the subway and even in downtown Toronto commuting out but still I don't think it'll be as huge as an advantage as one may think on paper.

I had the same thought. I suspect that the subway will provide a market for the condo towers as people who live there can commute to downtown. The office employees will probably drive to work.
 
People may live closer to Toronto, but work in Vaughan. Subway creates possibilities.


I think this would be the big use case - people living in Toronto / around the edges vs folks in the 905 who'd likely commute anyway and this doesn't help.

Not sure if it was mentioned before, that future grand central park is now a (temporary) parking lot - where they are already charging $12/day. I find it amusing for this neck of the woods.
