Toronto Kings Club at King High Line | 57.6m | 18s | First Capital | Kasian

I believe that part of the article was just refering to their present holdings in LV, including the Metro.

While i agree that Kingsclub will definitely change this area and fill in a massive part of the urban fabric that has been missing, I'm conflicted about the architecture.

It feels oddly PoMo with its juxtaposition among the other materials and that yellowish precast/brick shade is a bit of a turn off. It seems like something that might have been built in the late 90s. That said, I love the dark brick at street level and the way the base actually jumps out onto the sidewalk grabbing you by the neck and saying "LOOK AT ME AND MY INTERESTING RETAIL"

Time will tell. Don't fail us...

That is quite the wedge.

It reminds me of the Backstage construction pit. Likely will require the same type reinforcements and crash berm constructions as well no?

Curious to see how closely the underground design resembles or does not resemble that of BS

Yes, I'd assume there will be quite the crash wall here too.

I wonder how many times larger than the Backstage site this is. Three? Four? Five times?

Crane bases for two cranes are now in place. Cranes should be coming in soon.
