Hamilton Jamesville Redevelopment | ?m | 20s | Marz Homes | Kirkor

Those level crossing improvements have likely been bankrolled by metrolinx for service to Confederation.
True, and it's mainly been Gage that I've noticed in the past year or two. I haven't crossed other CN corridors in a long time, except where they're grade-separated. Along the Grimsby Sub the one at Ottawa St. is still a launching pad for cars going too fast, and Parkdale used to be horrible too but I've not been on that part of the street in a while.

Not much left:

Now we just need the MZO to make some progress. So glad this eyesore has been razed , but will be much happier to see it backfilled with a mix of affordable and market priced rentals.

Demolishing the townhomes is an important milestone in the plan to redevelop this very large, publicly-owned site right beside a Go Station into... mostly more townhomes.

I mean some of the trees were supposed to be removed, but you would usually mark the ones you're keeping and put up tree protection fencing. Heck I did a very minor job for city housing and made sure to fence off the trees to remain.

Could you imagine if this was oakville..? Not only do you have to put fencing up around the trees but around the root region too so the roots don't get damaged.
