Looks great so far. Here's hoping the grey metal panels won't cheapen things. Too bad the brick couldn't have been carried all the way around.

I don't mind it. I think it goes well with the dark framing and mullions on the punched windows.
That ash-coloured brick is rarely used here, after being in vogue somewhat in the 70s. IIRC, there are examples amongst some of Yorkville's shops.

I'm tired of these buildings with split personalities: the brick half looks great the other half rather generic and dull--maybe in an instaHOOD it would look ok.
