New rendering added to the db. The unit changed from 112 units to 123 units. The height changed from 39.51m to 38.21m. Total car parking was reduced from 55 car parking to 48 car parking.

Spoke at Committee of Adjustment in Scarborough today in SUPPORT of some Minor-Variances that now take the site up to 155 total rental apartments, including another 11 "extra" affordable rental units.

Some of the members of Committee asked questions about "How this can be considered a minor variance?" - which I was able to defuse by providing the context of the City Council support of 65,000 new rental apartments by 2031.

Despite their concerns, eventually the full Committee support the changes on a unanimous vote.

The database has been updated to reflect the approved minor variance

Major changes below:

  • Project title has been changed to Greencedar Commons.
  • Storeys increased from 10 to 11
  • Height increased from 38.21 to 40.21m
  • Total residential units increased from 123 to 155
  • Total vehicular parking increased from 48 to 58
  • Bike parking increased from 130 to 167
