Toronto Grand Hotel Redevelopment | 153.95m | 49s | Amexon | Core Architects

Tear down haft the existing structure and keep it in operation while the other new haft is being built.

A number of ways to it on that lot size.

Whoops. Read that too fast. I wonder if this would be done the way it's being done at 480 University; strengthen the existing columns by wrapping them or similar, then just going up. I would assume at least a partial gut of the existing interior, possibly a total gut.

According to the lobbyist register DTAH, Gagnon & Law Urban Planners Ltd, and McMillan LLP registered as a lobbyists on behalf on Amexon Developments for this file.

They are strongly opposed to the adjacent development at 235 Jarvis/175-191 Dundas St East, starting they had plans for two tall towers on the Grand Hotel property.

Does say maintain the existing 177 suites and restaurant so I'll go with the parking lot. It's long and narrow so maybe l tower isn't a typo.

It used to be the headquarters for the RCMP before it was converted to an hotel.
