It tells a story, and as mentioned keeps the trail grade-separated. I don't mind it at all.
100% this, also possibly the one place in the city you have cars and bikes at level 0, pedestrians at level 1, and trains at level 2. So cool seeing these stacked layers of infrastructure.

Those houses seem pretty close to a high powered rail line. Are there no sound barriers being put up?
