It would be cool if a different institution picked up the Shigeru Ban + Brook McIlroy design. It truly pushed the bar with its brilliant organ-like design. Perhaps U of T could use it for their medical school at UTSC. It would also make for a signature midrise office building for one of the upcoming East Bayfront/Port Lands projects.

Drove QQ today around 2pm and they were assembling a crane. Pretty sure it was this site. But as I was driving around cones and lane closures and potholes I really didn’t look to closely.
