Onni ?!?! They should be called " Slownni " This build has dragged on like no other. They started this project months before neighboring West Block (Loblaws two 40 story towers and complicated disassembly / reassembly of the heritage building) even began. Now Loblaws and West Block are finished, Slownni hasn't even completed their cladding on the 24 stories. This is not a covid delay, in fact construction speed increased substantially during covid. Just incredibly slow - you will not be moving in anytime soon, sorry. Even the constuction elevator is still attached.

Fortune started Spring 2017, by which time West Block had already completed excavation. Not sure where you're getting your info.

and perhaps you don't know the history either- onni got permits for a 19 storey building initially. Then sought to change the permits to go up to 32 storeys. The City and Onni settled one day before OMB hearing on 24 storeys. They broke ground May 2017.
There was an electrical fire that stopped work last winter, or the one prior- it all blends at this point and they had to bring in generators much to the delight (sarcasm) of the neighbours as they were running 24/7. So a delay.
Yes they are known for being slow.
And no, you are wrong, people have occupancy dates starting this month.

If you have purchased, you may want to check out the real estate discussion.
People are moving in this month and some have taken pictures getting their keys.

I received my letter for occupancy, it's slow for sure. We all get it, as we have purchased and have been in this waiting game.
But perhaps before making bold comments you want to educate yourself.
