Toronto Five St Joseph | 160.93m | 48s | Five St. Joseph | Hariri Pontarini

It's just a quirky building with many unusual details, but I really like it. The undulating balconies really set it apart from other balcony treatments during this condo boom.

Eldon Garnet's Artifacts of Memory was officially unveiled this morning at Five, (starting in Wickson Social—nice place!), and we've got Stefan's terrific front page story up here.

Meanwhile, here's the whole raft of photos, several of which are in the story, but this fills in a little more. We'll start with the art itself, in whole, then line-by-line:

Then we're having fun with the artist and everyone who played a part in the work and site's creation… along with a certain local celebrity who dropped by…

And finally some post-posing time to talk and enjoy the work.

Apart from the public art component (which doesnt fit in well with the heritage base) this is a fantastic building!

I really don't like this tower. I want to, I really do. The quality and execution all look fine to my untrained eye. I guess it's just not my cup of tea.

I absolutely love this at street level though.
