Nice, the skeleton of the globe looks complete! I wonder if they are going to put stucco on the walls outside the mall as the old brick will look out of place with the modern globe and the new main glass entrance they are making...

I just saw on Erin Mills facebook page some other pics. Got me wondering
how big is this sphere really?!?! I read somewhere, I think the press
release on their website that it's 283 feet in circumference. That's going
to be incredible. Can't wait.

I too checked out their facebook page and the centre responded with: The sphere is an architectural element that will allow a tremendous amount of
light to enter the shopping centre and provide a brighter shopping experience.

So there, now we know it's not going to be just a pretty ball. Kudos to Erin Mills for making it functional as well.
