I'm not sure how I feel about this building yet. It's certainly... imposing.. and provides a bit of big city massing for Humber Bay Shores.

The ground level and what businesses end up occupying it will be the deal breaker (just like Westlake was lifted above mediocrity by its ground level and area amenities).

A mostly off topic and very sad note: a young woman appears to have fallen or leapt to her death from a balcony opposite us. I was going to take my semi-regular photo of E de S this morning but will not do so under the circumstances. To appear to be taking photos of the tragedy would seem an obscenity

But what I really wanted to say is that in our interest in construction we ought always to remember the people behind the balconies. And sometimes their stories are tragic.

^Great shot! That's one of the more unique shots of the neighborhood that i've ever seen; really gives great perspective of the scope of the project and the size of the Mondelez lands!

Would be interesting to see what sort of new 'connections' could be made through the Mondelez site, linking Park Lawn with the density closer to the Humber River.

The orange/brown cladding is too subtle. Can't tell its there unless you are close by. In fact it took a while looking at those pictures to realize it was there.

I agree the orange is way to subtle. It doesn't even blend in well with the white balcony panels, which as of right now, just creates some add looking transition between the white balcony panel section and clear balcony section.

You can definitely see the height difference widening.
