...That unit also has a bathroom right there. I guess I was assuming it was a wall because of the bathroom but that would be interesting if it is an opaque glass wall in the shower that you could see out of but not into.
It is possible that there's wall behind it — that's what happens with spandrel all over the city. Normally the back of the glass is painted, and that may be the case here, but that would pretty much make it the first case in which they've figured out how to colour match correctly so that the windows and spandrels look basically identical from the exterior. Whatever they've done, it's a first time achievement. Ever. Historic moment.
