Can someone explain how the Sky Lobby will work exactly? What is the point of having such a huge lobby above the first 3 floors of units in the podium? Is it meant to be more of an event space rather than concierge/waiting space?

Another question my partner and I have had for awhile: what's with the large panels of white cladding outside the podium units? Won't they significantly obscure the view out the windows?

Yes unfortunately that area of the city is still very seedy especially when you go East of Dundas and Jarvis

I’m really not sure why some are giving this an easy ride — feels to me that it’s a jumbled and confused mess with horrible massing; a second cousin of YC Condos with slightly more expensive clothes.
Far worse than YC which has been the go to pile on site here.

Said this back in June:
The more it gets built, the more of a jumbled mess it becomes. Too much going on.

And many agreed. I think this would get more heat if it was where YC's location is. Also think YC at street level is worse than this.

The tower definitely manages to have too much going on while simultaneously having nothing going on.
The street could really use some trees, but the podium is ok.
