Daniels Mount Pleasant Village, Phase 2, Block B: a proposed 14 & 11-storey condominium and 7 x 3-storey back-to-back stacked townhouses designed by Lemay and Kirkor for Daniels on the north side of Bovaird Drive West, west of Creditview Road and east of Mississauga Road in Brampton's Mount Pleasant neighbourhood.

UPDATE 5/9/2024:

Both condos are up to the 9th level if we're counting the ground floor to the top of the building.

Townhouses have roofing done, along with a partial on the blue house wrap for the exterior.
 
Wow that‘s a wide road! I hope eventually the area will feel more urban and pedestrian-friendly.
It's a pretty wide road until you go west of Mississauga road, then it turns into a single lane until you go past Norval into Georgetown. Although they are doing another residential build around there, the roads still haven't been widened to accommodate for the growth like Mississauga road has. Time will tell.

It sounds like a traffic bottleneck!

this is right in front a high school and around arrival/dismissal time it's just rows of cars blocking the turn lane and the 2 bus stops, theres no safe or convenient way to cross the street etiher, it's crazy!

That‘s insane!

I live in Germany where most cities cluster their schools around streetcar, subway, and regional transit stations with little to no parking lots, including in small towns in the countryside. Even though these were usually built in the post-war period when highways were expanded, streets were widened, and many beautiful buildings which survived the bombings were still demolished to make way for the car, there was still the foresight to cluster potential sources of traffic and maintain pedestrian safety around transit nodules.

Tell me about it. I live about 5 minutes away from the area and Heritage Road gets plugged up because it's one lane, Bovaird eastbound gets plugged up because it's one lane splitting into two, and then everyone turning northbound onto Creditview just makes it even worse!

As much as Brampton is pushing for more modes of active transportation, it feels like the builders are not taking into consideration that traffic studies and lane widening should be done before they even start construction. The amount of vehicles on the road coming from Mississauga Road / Elbern Markell at all hours of the day just doesn't help anyone at all.
 
Update: internal plumbing / fire fixtures can be seen from the roadside. They are definitely moving quite quickly with the development of this site. I anticipate getting more photos this coming Sunday, with aerial / drone footage to follow.

Additionally, townhouses have been fully wrapped and are awaiting further materials, but the roofs are essentially completed.
