Lots more up on my site for the 3 stations and Mount Dennis area.
Getting ready to pour the curb for the westbound lane at the portal. Have pour some of the new sidewalk.
The OS support different from any I have seen for other systems. Doesn't look like much more to be done before going live and start testing the cars from Mount Dennis Station to X
Work well underway for the new GO/UPX Mount Dennis Station.
They are rebuilding a wider entrance/road to No Frills as well the new bus termin
Are they going to trim the height of the catenary poles? It looks so unrefined with so much extra length just sticking up there for no reason

The extra height actually serves a purpose. It gets used for lightning arrestors and mounting circuit breakers.

The new Riyadh Metro currently under construction is doing a great job making all the elevated portions look nice. They covered the sides and added the lines' colors on the viaducts. They are even adding light fixtures under them and around the street with colors matching the lines.

Indeed, of all the existing colours they had to choose GREY .. What's wrong with those people?
If they could just hire one or two Arts programs graduates, to address the lack-of-imagination problem that seems to cripple Metrolinx ..

Maybe they're trying to avoid the colours used by the political parties?
In Canada, the official color for the New Democratic Party is orange, while the Liberal Party of Canada uses red, the Conservative Party of Canada uses blue, and the Bloc Québécois uses light blue. The Green Party of course uses green. So none of those colours can be used.

Or, they could come up with a colour combination that doesn't give any party an unfair advantage, and yet doesn't look hopelessly dull. More work for that Arts program graduate they are about to hire ..
