I wondered about that myself, as well. They can't possibly keep Eglinton single lane in both direction here. Can they?
 
Maybe I'm reading the subway concourse plan incorrectly, but it looks to me like you can get from E Condos and the Yonge/Eg centre to the subway concourse without going down to the LRT concourse. It looks like there are ramps and stairs connecting those two basements into the unpaid area of the subway concourse.
I hope that's the case, but the plan does not look that way to me. It will be a major inconvenience to thousands of people if there's an up-and-down added that should be avoided. They're also no longer doing much to avoid the crowding at the north end that the northward move was meant to ameliorate. I assume that this is bringing a huge cost savings compared to the original plan, but many users of the station look like they'll be paying the price forever instead.

Looks like they're only allowing buses to turn left. Hopefully that means there will be less traffic at the intersection with vehicles making turns earlier to go north or south, respectively. If it's just straight and right turns only shouldn't be too slow along there (plus, you know...that whole underground LRT thing).

Are those lanes even necessary? It would only benefit:
  • the NB 97; 3-4 buses/hr, low local ridership route above subway
  • the WB 32; significantly reduced to local ridership only, and it would only be if it turned south on Yonge to go to the south entrance of the bus terminal, when it could just as easily go the the west entrance off of Duplex
  • the SB 103; same entrance dilemna as the WB 32, and that's if they keep it, they could just as easily continue what they're doing now with an extended 74.
 
Seems like they are ready to open the South East corner soon.
South West corner also getting there. Will be nice to have that corner back and accessible to pedestrians

Is all of that steel permanent, or is that just a temporary structure to hold up road decking while construction happens underneath?
 
Demolish the whole block (minus the condo and townhomes) and begin a new.

Towers, office, hotel, public space, amenities, the whole deal.

From the renderings and plans I have seen so far for the Canada Square redevelopment, all of those uses are being considered for the site. 80s isn't part of the plan, though.
