It's really interesting to see the comments because I personally do not have a taste in architecture, could you tell me more about what makes a good piece of architecture (for a residential project like this one)?
Don't let a couple of posts be your be-all and end-all. One UrbanToronto member can say one thing, and another one another. What's good or bad architecture cannot be described in a single post or even a few, and those who criticize some architectural firms by claiming that all their buildings are bad are doing a major disservice too by ridiculously oversimplifying things. If you want to know more about architecture, get a book on the history of it, or the history of Modern Architecture specifically because that's what we're looking at here, or take an "evening" course (online now I suppose), or even just read Wikipedia articles on it. If that's more of a commitment than your level of interest can support, just like what you like and ignore those telling you to do otherwise.

It's an absolutely dreadful looking part of town. Hopefully, this can salvage it to some degree. Unfortunately, it may end up being more of the same.

It should be called Discord. Unfortunately, that name is taken for a social media website.

But again, that didn't stop DLive in Pickering, which also shares its name with a social media website.
