I thought they charge for parking there on game days for those attending the games. But if they don't, then Build Up could get a parking ticket for parking on private property.

Another possibility would be "Vertex", which would somewhat echo "Apex", which is already part of the development.

Spandex?
Gore-Tex?
Tex-Mex?

no they let people park there for the games. there is always a guy out front, not many people know that you can park there so its never full. thats why i go there:)

Maybe to use a popular metaphor for "signature", they can call it the John Hancock Tower

Maybe if the recession gets bad, they can rename it something like "The Drive Thru McDonalds on Spadina".

This project isn't happening anytime soon. Concord has a lot of inventory units at both their sites and will be focused on those efforts for a while prior to leveraging themselves on their next project at the Cityplace site.... the so-called final 'signature' tower may not be the next tower at that site either.... lastly the height figures or design suggestions people have been tossing around the last couple pages aren't really relevant - no decisions have been made and the market will weight heavily on future options.

When ever it gets build, one thing for sure it will most likely be the tallest of them all.

But it's not a sure thing. He just explained that height will depend on market forces, logically.

It'll almost certainly be the tallest, but the number of floors, units, retail and target market, design etc won't be determined for a while yet.

Mike, are you suggesting there may be more developments at the CityPlace location other than Signature when the market condition is right?

They are builidng Panorama on the Wittington lands. One can assume it won't be the only one given Concord's appeal for large multi-phased developments.

There may be an opportunity as Maestro suggested similar to the Panorama land parcel purchase from Wittington - a while back Concord was looking to acquire additional land parcels in the immediate vicinity of the Cityplace lands - things have changed dramatically since then, so the signature tower may very well be next, but that isn't necessarily written in stone.
