I think what makes his building look good. Is that it has a great-looking podium compared to some other cheap-looking podiums made out of glass. This one is beefed-up with concrete slabs. Which the city needs more of these days in the downtown core.
 
Too bad cresford isn't building anything along the waterfront.
Seriously, while they may not be the most exciting development, the CASA II and III twins would be a huge improvement over Daniels City of the Arts. And so far this building looks even better than anything they built on Charles.
 
I’m really impressed with not only the quality of the glazing but also by the fact they are even using in areas that won’t be very visible. In the fifth photo you can see the curtain wall glazing they’re installed in an area that is a nook of sorts and won’t be that visible, yet they didn’t cheap out and use window wall.
