I wonder why i cannot see the protruding front part facing Yonge as shown in the 3D rendering in the recent photos?

The upper level setback is visible in all shots on the previous page.

That's because they've just passed that level recently. Once the next 9-10 floors are up, the setback will become more visible

As far as I know, all the projects. YSL has a rumored buyer already, and Halo/Clover is being managed by PWC. 33 Yorkville is still being discussed.
All the projects are seperate corporations. Even if they are bankrupt doesn't mean Cresford is. They could easily dump one and still keep the rest.

You are right. Let me rephrase.
Cresford is unable to provide the equity funding required to keep the projects going. They had the option to sell one or more projects at a profit and recycle the capital to keep the rest going, but they either would not or could not. Hence, they have elected to put the projects into receivership. PWC is still evaluating the situation and may either refund the deposits to pre-construction purchasers, or let the eventual acquirer of the projects keep going.
