Coincidentally, I have couple pics from today. More working is being done on sidewalks:

Few more pics. Trees are planted. Looks like we are finally seeing this project coming to a completion:

Some of the weathered steel was installed when I passed by tonight (wasn't able to take a pic unfortunately). Looks pretty great!

Yes, they were installing corten steel on the wall above Lake Shore yesterday afternoon and had the supports up for the panels on the wall above Rees. Looked very good.

Many Bothans died to bring us those plans. (Which is why this project has taken six-plus years to finish. They kept running out of Bothans.)

Its a neat idea to have the roundhouse's original trackage map on that wall.

I hope it gets lit up, it looks like a grill so I suspect there will be a back light.

Unfortunately no. You can see in the pictures of the installation that no lighting was in place. That’s something that would have been done before.

Work on the sidewalks and edge of the road going on up by Bremner:

    DSC05991.
    DSC05992.

I was surprised to see just how see-through the Corten screens are.

    DSC05993.
    DSC05995.
    DSC05994.
    DSC05994 - Version 2.

…but, yup, I think it's all going to be quite striking when done!
