It would have been great if the art installation (Wins, Losses, and Ties I believe) that the bridge replaced were to be relocated elsewhere in the Scotiabank Arena (and perhaps updated).

By looking at the photos up above and looking at those dark diamond glazed facade glisten in the sun. It would have been great to see this building dubble in size to a super tall !

You really think the city would allow a 500m tower built anywhere int he city.
I am sure some park or school would be in shadow for an hour a day in fall that would knock it down in size.

If you have ever been in a park (or a street or a home) totally shadowed by neighbouring buildings you might be afraid, or at least wary, yourself. There are always some shadows but buildings can be designed and 'placed' to minimise additional shadow - sounds like a good idea to me.
