I still don’t understand how this is 2yrs from occupancy
I've always referred it to as fiery red...the threshold where orange turns to red on the colour wheel, which can look more orange or red depending on lighting conditions...

...but if they painted that as such as Mr. Capizzano suspects, that's really cheapening out on the materials in this opinion. Maybe not as bad as burning it in EIFS'igy...but yeah. /sigh
Is it paint or some sort of treatment that fades a little over time, like a sealant or something. Pls tell me this thing I just invented exists.
Confirmed that it is a potassium silicate stain that absorbs into the bricks. They chose the opaque which is why it appears more like paint
Is what we saw in the photo the final product or does it look different after absorbing?
