Pre-1992 - office (bank towers) with maybe a mixed use project here and there
Post 2000 - lead by residential, office boom 2008 on
In between - recession, suburban office flight

You can also see the gap between 1975 and the 80s - the reform council, oil shock, etc. Not sure how accurate the look forward will be.

I came to Toronto in 2008, right in time to witness the biggest construction boom!

It's a worldwide phenomenon. I'm not convince it has long term staying power. Toronto will fair well though.
