These developments positioned as "brownstones" never cease to leave me bewildered as they bear no resemblance to actual brownstones. Just stop, developers of Toronto. Please.

To be fair, the name of this development is simply "Brownstones". On the developer's website, they're described as "executive townhomes".

According to BuzzBuzzHomes this is slated for completion in 2017.

Three and four bedroom townhouses at $1.5m a pop.

And according to the above website, they are going for $1.9m a piece

Seems like this project hasn't received much love on here for the past 3 years. It is near completion now!

Quite bare without any landscaping and no windows at street level.

@Toronto1834 is on point, the elevated front entrance/grade doesn't work as built; both the setback line and ultimate roof line really need a proper cornice; and the weird change in window styles between the base and third
levels makes no sense to me whatever.

The Juliet-Balcony thing also looks goofy on the lowest (above grade) level.
