Just a random thought but I wonder if there might be an opportunity to use some of the empty space in adjacent office towers as gallery space. But this brings up several questions: what are the ceiling heights of the empty space? Is it possible to create openings between floors of the office blocks? What sort of financial arrangements would make it worthwhile for both parties and what sort of lease? Has this been done successfully anywhere else? Would McMaster want to be a partner to create a university museum as UofT and McGill have?

Pretty sure Mac controls the site adjacent to the West of the current AGH, would make a great podium tenant.

I do quite like the existing gallery, but it is quite hidden in some respects. This would solve that.
