Wandering around beside Aquavista, yesterday:

It's kinda fun to see all of the stack bond on the building, which is not commonly used. This bond pattern doesn't have the strength that alternating bonds do, so you don't tend to see it when the wall is loadbearing, so when that's not the case I appreciate its decorative use.

The lakeside is lovely ..the back side is rather dull and dreary. Will there be rests etc. along the promenade?

Thanks Jasonzed, you were so close to take a pic of the Aquabella project site to see where are they now,, but thanks anyway it’s a great picture

The north side is pretty awul, but I'm guessing another building is going in front of it anyways.

It's pretty bad. Which is sad, because in theory.I really like the dark grey brick they are using for its graphite-like sheen. However, they managed to color-match it perfectly with the grey spandrel and the result is a monolithic wall of darkness and evil. If only they did not listen to the all-powerful grey spandrel lobby and went with a contrasting color for the spandrel, like white, the contrast between the brick columns and the spandrel would have made the north side of the building look really good.
