This will be about the same height as L-tower correct? Looks like it's getting close to full height.
I believe there's just 1 meter difference between the advertised heights of both towers. However, there is a large differential in site elevations of the two, the Esplanade being much lower than Wellington Street. The pointed building cap above the mechanical penthouse of L-Tower may bridge the gap, but perhaps 88 will have the same cap height but of a different shape for reasons other than aesthetics.

The heights we quote are both to the structural top. In the call of the L Tower, that pointy peak in the southwest corner is 205 m above The Esplanade. In the case of 88 Scott, the flat top of the mechanical penthouse will be 204 m above Wellington Street, which itself is about 5 m higher than The Esplanade above sea level. So, from just about everywhere other than the islands, 88 Scott will be about 8 metres higher and will look it. From the islands, the L Tower may appear to be a pinch taller.
