I was gonna say, I haven't looked at the arch plans yet (am too scared), but that east elevation could be a disaster.

Is there a term for architecture that just assumes whatever massing will meet planning rules around shadowing, density, etc. to maximize floor space? Why have elegant setbacks when you can just put in awkward slants wherever needed.

That being said, I do like how the new proposal clearly delineates its two volumes; some condo towers are happy to just slice the top off a box and call it a day.
