I got to looking at this again because Fengate have registered to lobby in regards to this development....

We will discuss the demolition of five vacant single-family homes (8-16 Locust St), where two of them (8 and 12) are subject to rental replacement by-law to accommodate the development of a new 35 Storey building.

Edit to add; checked the status of this with OLT:

With the consent of the City, the Tribunal set a 10-day hearing commencing on
Monday, June 13, 2022 at 10 am by VH.

The building height increased from 116.60m to 119.85m. The total storey count increased from 35 storeys count to 36 storeys count. The total unit count increased from 372 units to 387 units. Finally, the parking count decreased from 146 parking spaces to 139 parking spaces.

Is this a rental building or a condo? Any idea when they will get started? Approval was a year ago now?

Demolition permits have not been issued, and appear not to have had any activity on them since '21.
