Toronto 75 on The Esplanade | 99.97m | 29s | Harhay | a—A

I live here so I'm biased, but I think it would be hard to oversupply this particular neighbourhood, given the concentration of urban amenities. People will always want to live here, no matter how many units they build.
I agree completely; what is more likely IF there comes a time when there are TOO many condos, those in less desirable neighbourhoods or less well designed will no longer be acceptable while those in more desirable areas will, at least, retain their value. What will be interesting to see is will great well-designed condos in less desirable neighbourhoods (and vice versa) follow their 'neighbourhood trend". Remember the old real estate adage: "Location, location, location".

But there are so many vacant units already.... I hope this is temporary and will be reversed after COVID is gone

I don't think it's true that there's a large number of vacant units in the St. Lawrence area. Where are you getting that information from? Obviously covid has increased vacancy rates across Toronto, but I suspect this area is one of the less hard hit.

This building, plus Time & Space and St. Lawrence Condos are obviously going to bring a huge number of new units to the area, but I suspect they will find many willing owners and renters, particularly as the downtown towers start to fill up with workers again.

I agree with you that this building will most likely be popular among renters and buyers...I also believe that oversupply would be a temporary problem....in the long run real estate in this neighborhood will recover and increase in value...

Set up Friday night at 8, remove the crane and start pouring more concrete by 3 pm Saturday. Very efficient crew. Fun to watch. Take the rest of the day off.
