The balconies on the old building have been reclad in clear glass.

 
Despite the Frankenstein building, the podium is quite decent. Im glad to see more retail along this dead stretch of Church Street.
 
That should liven up the "dead stretch" Benito is referring to....
I hope that was sarcasm. I find that dental clinics do nothing for the streetscape mainly because they dont provide any tangible connections to the outside streetscape. Dental clinics often close off their windows from the street. Something like a coffee shop or restaurant would do wonders here.

Unless there is a huge cavity epidemic in this city, I agree that a dental clinic will not do much to boost foot traffic on this part of Church street.

Neighbourhood livability is more important here. What is more foot traffic here going to solve?
