quality is definitely going to be better than YC but i dont like the randomly placed balconies. atleast YC balconies make a checker board design(sort of), this is just randomly placed balconies.

The balconies aren't randomly placed, they form a pattern, very similar to YC's balconies in fact...

Between this, Casa, Casa II, Casa III, it seems the theme for this stretch of Charles is to have large rectangular wall of glass at street level.

I really don't get the design direction here. The balconies jut out at random. The balcony interplay is so cliche by now that no quality material can really save this
