Toronto 5359 Dundas West | 164.7m | 50s | CentreCourt | Arcadis

Our front-page story is up here now.

I'll echo some of the other calls @WaitingForGodot, if you're able to provide us with some information that would be helpful in having us focus on a threshold other than 1 elevator per 100 suites, we'd be very interested. Looking forward to seeing elevator studies for this and all applications in the future!

What strikes me is that CentreCourt is pushing for 55 storeys on this piece of land, while Pinnacle Etobicoke tried to go massive storey heights on their lands... and that turned down (https://urbantoronto.ca/news/2017/07/new-plans-reveal-massive-scope-9-tower-pinnacle-etobicoke.27706). No doubt that Doug Ford will use MZO impacting all developments on Dundas.
He won't have to… things have already changed since the Pinnacle application; Major Transit Station Area designations have been created that encourage high density developments within 500 and 800m radii of stations like Kipling while restricting what municipalities can turn down. As this building is easily within the Kipling MTSA, the City will give it the go-ahead, pending any technical changes they want made and can negotiate.
