this thing is going to absolutely dominate the DVP. It's way taller and closer to the highway than anything in Regent Park.

I think this would look fine if they used dark glass and dark spandrel to contrast the elegant white lines, but the renders sadly show them using terrible light grey spandrel. Sigh.
 
Reminds me of a poor imitation of River City Phase 3, but... considering the area as it is right now, I feel this kind of thing can't come soon enough. Although I will miss some of the alleyways in and around there for the gritty urban photo opportunities they afford.
 
Seeing as this is Marlin Spring and G+C, we really shouldnt expect any quality materials coming out from this one. Sure the renderings look nice, but i'm already expecting the worse.
