The 427 is going to be one hell of a neat drive once all of these towers start construction. Nice to see more density along here but I would appreciate if each of the tower's facades were treated differently.

Does any other North American region even come close to the number of highrises by highways that we have here in the GTA? Plenty along the DVP, 401, QEW, and 407 as well. It really speaks to the car culture here.

We certainly do embrace the car more than we should but this is more about owners with developable land as opposed to a buyer preference for highway access.

It's being upgraded as part of the project.

"As part of the redevelopment proposal, the existing 24-storey rental apartment building on site will be entirely retained, subject to interior and exterior renovations to provide a loading enclosure and additional indoor and outdoor amenities, as noted."

New renderings are updated in the database. The overall storey count changed from 39, 31 & 27 storeys to 21, 21 & 21 storeys. Total height changed from 127.40m, 103.50m, and 91.70m to 73.50m, 73.50m, and 73.50m. The overall unit count changed from 924 units to 824 units. Finally, the total parking space count changed from 889 parking to 941 parking.

The parkland configuration is goofy. Its pretty much worthless, as programmable space.

Developers, architects, please pay heed. What do you honestly expect people to do in this park other than walk to the end and back?

Parks need to have a there, there, and long, narrow, slivers rarely work.

There is case to be made for them if they provide access to an existing park or better still link two existing parks........but on a free-standing basis, this configuration is utterly worthless on its own.

Selling it on the basis of size, given that it tiny is obnoxious; and selling it based on a possible future park not provided by this application and in no way assured is disingenuous.

Parks should flat refuse this.
