I live right by here and can provide some recent updates. Digging was commencing slowly, and it was clear they were having trouble as they were hitting large deposits of rock. Suddenly a few weeks ago a few for sale signs went up around the perimeter of the development, and the portion of earth they were attempting to excavate is filled with water. Also, the presentation center has changed signs and even developers seemingly, advertising stacked towns. I will try to provide a picture soon

Wonder if they hit shale, you think they would know about that though if they'd done boreholes.

Edit: for anyone curious, go take a gander at the storm water pond behind the Walmart, or even just the Hwy6 hill, don't have to go very deep there before finding shale.
