Toronto 400 King West | 157.37m | 48s | Plaza | BDP Quadrangle

Minto775 is also another lacklustre building by HPA.

The drawings above look like a widened version of Pinnacle on Adelaide, but with a light and dark theme happening that a lot of architects are doing.
Tridel used be ultra conservative in terms of their design, but lately they have been more progressive and using more interesting architects. I'm hoping Plaza will follow suit. This is still a preliminary design, it will evolve.

^^^But Tridel is only paying lip service to more progressive and interesting design. Their execution of these designs is brutal and, frankly, an insult to the architects who produce them. Aqualina by Arquitectonica is a sad example of this.

New docs up dated March 27. Height remains the same, GFA slightly reduced but, oddly, the number of units has increased from 530 to 630. They've also increased size of the proposed POPS and tweaked some setbacks.

I love the thin rectangle windows on this structure! Is there any time frame on when this building is going to be built ?

Everyone's view from the King Charlotte though... whoever did those renderings and cast the shadow onto 11 Charles street knows what I'm talking about.

Could a rhomboid shape mitigate that? A la sunlife centre at University and King?
