What's the point of going with a reputable architect firm, when in the end all you're going to do is cheap out with materials? At that point you might as well go with a firm like P+S/IBI because you know exactly what you would be getting: a low quality design which best excels when cheap finishes are used.

We have seen enough projects from Concord (30+ buildings between CityPlace and Park Place) to know what to expect from them. Their most recent project (The LakeFront) is much of the same from what we have seen with from them in the past. And we havent even gotten started on their projects in Vancouver, which are more of the same with what we see here in Toronto.

Honestly there is a good chance that whatever garbage they build here is still nicer than the previous plan. That last proposal was offensively ugly, even compared to cityplace.
